BWant Technology is proud to announce the upcoming launch of a three-day, two-night training camp Signals from Space: AI Exploration Camp, to be held from July 9 to July 11, 2025, at National Penghu University of Science and Technology (NPUST).
This program is designed to introduce Taiwanese high school and university students to emerging applications in generative AI and satellite communications, with the broader goal of cultivating early interest in the global space-tech ecosystem. Through hands-on workshops, technical lectures, and field-based challenges, the camp offers a unique platform to engage future talent with real-world applications of satellite connectivity and artificial intelligence.
The curriculum, developed and executed by the Institute for Information Industry (III), integrates:
- Practical training in generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI image/audio synthesis)
- Team-based "mission challenges" inspired by space exploration scenarios
- Technical briefings on satellite networks and ground segment integration
- Local cultural and environmental exploration of Penghu, used as inspiration for AI-generated content
- A final project presentation, reinforcing communication, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary skills
By introducing students to the fundamentals of space communications and digital creativity, the camp also supports a long-term vision of strengthening domestic interest in satellite-related innovation, in line with international development trends.
