As the satellite communications industry grows quickly, user terminal manufacturers are facing new and difficult challenges. In addition to handling complex systems, they must also meet strict international standards to expand their market around the world. However, most satellite certification resources are still based in Europe and the U.S., which means many Taiwanese companies have to spend a lot of time and money to complete the certification process overseas.
To solve this problem, BWant is taking the lead by working with GSOA to bring more value to Taiwan’s satellite community. We are now applying to become an Authorized Testing Entity (ATE), with the goal of building reliable and affordable testing services in Taiwan. This will also help us connect more effectively with international certification systems.
In June 2025, BWant welcomes everyone to join five major industry forums in Taiwan. We will share our latest insights on antenna design challenges, G/T measurement methods, and our hands-on experience with international certification. Through these discussions, we hope to work closely with universities, government agencies, and industry partners to help strengthen Taiwan’s satellite communication sector.
